An Order of Chivalry granted by the President of the French Republic, The decoration is given in respect for humble contributions to the French State. Originally awarded to Adnan Kassar in 1992, the honor was upgraded in the year 2000 to “Officer” and was offered in the name of the President of the French Republic by former French Ambassador to Lebanon, H.E. Mr. Philippe Le Courtier. The two awards were offered to Adnan Kassar during his tenure as CCIAB President
