Adnan Kassar was elected as Honorary Chairman of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) in 2016. The SRCIC is an international, non-governmental organization that aims to promote the renaissance of the Silk Road trade and culture, founded to develop the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and a “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” (the Belt and Road); the two major initiatives in which SRCIC serves as an advocate to advance its members’ growth and prosperity by offering trade and investment opportunities as well as Cultural Exchanges, Membership Services and Membership Development. SRCIC is the first chamber of commerce named after the Silk Road and will play an important role to unite the business associations along the Silk Road. |
