Adnan Kassar’s relations and ties to Russia were recognized by the prestigious Order of Friendship State Decoration of the Russian Federation, to mark, in 2013, his 40 years of ties to the wonderful nation of Russia and to its warm people.  The decoration was granted to Adnan Kassar by the esteemed Ambassador of Russia to Lebanon, Ambassador Alexander Zasypkin on 31 January 2013.

With this Decoration, Adnan Kassar is named as a friend of Russia.  In the official definition of this Decoration, established by Presidential Decree, it is to reward foreign nationals whose work, deeds and efforts were aimed at the betterment of relations with the Russian Federation and its people.

 Adnan Kassar is proud to confirm his friendship to Russia and its people and to promise to continue his sincere efforts, in his various personal, business and official capacities, to develop and strengthen Lebanon’s and the Arab world’s ties to Russia, on all grounds.
